Before Leon Hollimon was apprehended by police, he had stolen an ambulance and continued in a high-speed chase.
When I left the crazy house I became frenetic; My duty called when I caught a glimpse of a man, stranded to die on the side of a major highway. I immediately jumped into action, my indolent spell had ceased. I then carried the man to the nearest hospital and soon became listless and enervated, i noticed an ambulance glowing in the sunlight and calling to me. I jumped in, secured the man in the back, and with ebullience dressed up into my doctors attire. It all brought back memories fast, but too fast, I didn't have time to remember those days. I just couldn't let this man die like Jack! Back then I was dilatory, now the ambulance gave me speed. I had to save this man and I would.
At each red light I tried repeatedly to revive the dying man. I inserted an IV, which because of his paucity of sleep, he became soporific. Once I noticed that the IV was unchanging to the man, I used a defibrillator, that to was not working. Because it was so arduous to keep the man alive, I became frantic and started to speed twice the legal limit. I needed to to get to my hospital, they were the only ones who could save him. Then, out of nowhere the police stopped me. I didn't know why they were stopping me, did they want the man to die?
When the police searched Leon and the stolen vehicle, they found him impersonating a doctor and a dead deer strapped in the back inserted with IVs and obvious marks of the nearby defibrillator. When questioning Mr. Hollimon the police were convinced Leon sincerely believed he was trying to save a dying man. However Leon was sent back to his asylum for protection of others and himself.
